This yarn is from Blue Sky Alpacas (my favorite of course!) It is 100% baby alpaca in a sport weight. It knits up to be thin and lightweight, but very warm. I think it would do well for some color patterning. This is just a sampling of colors I think might be nice in combination. Rich and harvesty, with a punch of excitement!Wouldn't it be sooooooooo nice to line your neck with a nice cashmere?
Or perhaps include baby camel?
Manos Del Uruguay is beautiful and also supports/sustains a cooperative of women.
This yarn is called Pemaquid by the Fiber Company in Maine! I'm not sure if the blended colors would work, but the yarn sure is gorgeous!

my post got all spazzy and multiplied on me?! but on to what i was trying to say ...the manos del uruguay is gorgeous! perhaps we could work a little maine in there too...
and i love the top three colors + the red in the first cluster of photos.
Manos would be a great outside yarn for the top part. It's variegated so it'll have a nice texture and color depth. The top three colors are my favorite too. Gold, pistachio & peach, then of course RED!
im drooling. i cant wait till i get home and go to purl soho and feel all the yumminess of nice yarn and all the projects i have lined up for summer vacation...it is my dream to have a closet full of sweaters that i made from amazing yarn.
